Project Proposal
This is my project proposal for ICT171. My website will be cloud hosted on Microsoft Azure and titled Tech Myth Buster. This website will run on a Linux VM using the Nginx web server. The aim of my project is to work on cloud computing, which is the future of IT, and to learn how to integrate work between local servers and the cloud.
The concept of this website is to host a blog page with different sections related to the IT field, such as cloud computing, data science, and cybersecurity. In addition to that, there will be a section for myths and facts related to IT, where common misconceptions will be explained in a simple and clear way.
The blog will also reflect my personal learning journey while working on this project. It will include content based on my experience of setting up and managing a cloud server, helping others understand real-world applications of these technologies.
In the future, the blog can be expanded by adding more detailed articles, improving the design, and introducing advanced features such as user interaction, comments, and database support. From my webpage, viewers will be able to familiarise themselves with the world of IT and understand key concepts more clearly. I would also like to include articles from trusted sources in each section to engage users and improve their understanding of the IT field.
The website will be designed cleanly using the help of generative tools and will be easily accessible for students and professionals. This project ultimately aims to demonstrate practical cloud skills and also understand the working of cloud systems on Linux and a local PC.
